About This Salon
Down a winding gravel road, three miles from Highway 89, this studio sits on ten quiet acres surrounded by golden mesas. The drive feels remote, but downtown Kanab is just fifteen minutes away. Head spa treatments here include steam, aromatherapy, and Shirodhara, an ancient technique involving a steady flow of warm oil across the forehead. Exfoliation and reflexology complete the offerings, all performed with steady, calm gestures. The recurring praise concerns the lasting relaxation and connection to nature, especially when treatments are held outdoors on the nearby cliffs. A meditation labyrinth winds through the property, inviting quiet reflection before or after a session. Complementary tea is served in the studio, a modest space marked by prayer flags fluttering in the desert breeze.

Booking Your Head Spa
Here are our tips to prepare for and fully enjoy your scalp treatment.
Book in Advance
Book 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Weekend slots sell out fast. And some scalp care specialists are in high demand, especially at reputable Japanese head spa salons.
Prepare for Your Visit
If you have concerns like itchy scalp, product buildup, or hair loss (alopecia), mention them when booking to customize your session.
Day of Your Session
Don't wash your hair the day of your appointment and arrive with brushed hair. Skip makeup as some treatments include a facial mask or kobido massage.
After Your Session
Enjoy a calm activity to extend the relaxing effects of your head massage. Note: blow-drying is usually not included. Allow extra time for long hair.
At-Home Care
Avoid washing your hair for 24-48 hours to let the treatment absorb. For a healthy scalp between sessions, ask your specialist which shampoo and hair care products to use at home.
Maintain Your Results
For lasting scalp health, consider regular treatments. Many clients book their next head spa before leaving to maintain their scalp care routine.
