About This Salon
Set in a mid-town location, Spa Safire offers Japanese head spa services in a calm environment. The treatment begins with a scalp analysis to determine individual needs, followed by deep cleansing and exfoliation to remove buildup. Skilled yet gentle hands perform a scalp massage using various instruments, complemented by a neck, shoulder, hand, and arm massage. The most luxurious option includes a full facial, leaving clients with exceptionally clean hair and a refreshed feeling. The general impression highlights the friendly staff and experienced therapists. The salon is wheelchair accessible and open from Monday to Friday.

Booking Your Head Spa
Here are our tips to prepare for and fully enjoy your scalp treatment.
Book in Advance
Book 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Weekend slots sell out fast. And some scalp care specialists are in high demand, especially at reputable Japanese head spa salons.
Prepare for Your Visit
If you have concerns like itchy scalp, product buildup, or hair loss (alopecia), mention them when booking to customize your session.
Day of Your Session
Don't wash your hair the day of your appointment and arrive with brushed hair. Skip makeup as some treatments include a facial mask or kobido massage.
After Your Session
Enjoy a calm activity to extend the relaxing effects of your head massage. Note: blow-drying is usually not included. Allow extra time for long hair.
At-Home Care
Avoid washing your hair for 24-48 hours to let the treatment absorb. For a healthy scalp between sessions, ask your specialist which shampoo and hair care products to use at home.
Maintain Your Results
For lasting scalp health, consider regular treatments. Many clients book their next head spa before leaving to maintain their scalp care routine.
