The Spa at Séc-he

About This Salon
Run by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, The Spa at Séc-he occupies a sprawling 73,000-square-foot space in Palm Springs, just off Tahquitz Canyon Way. The head spa treatments here incorporate traditional techniques with modern therapies, including scalp treatments paired with pedicures or facials. Many guests comment on the unique combination of services, such as the Yume Stations Scalp Treatment, which is designed to relax and rejuvenate. The spa's signature mineral waters, drawn from an ancient aquifer, play a central role in the experience. Open daily with extended hours, the spa also ensures accessibility with wheelchair-friendly entrances and facilities.

Booking Your Head Spa
Here are our tips to prepare for and fully enjoy your scalp treatment.
Book in Advance
Book 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Weekend slots sell out fast. And some scalp care specialists are in high demand, especially at reputable Japanese head spa salons.
Prepare for Your Visit
If you have concerns like itchy scalp, product buildup, or hair loss (alopecia), mention them when booking to customize your session.
Day of Your Session
Don't wash your hair the day of your appointment and arrive with brushed hair. Skip makeup as some treatments include a facial mask or kobido massage.
After Your Session
Enjoy a calm activity to extend the relaxing effects of your head massage. Note: blow-drying is usually not included. Allow extra time for long hair.
At-Home Care
Avoid washing your hair for 24-48 hours to let the treatment absorb. For a healthy scalp between sessions, ask your specialist which shampoo and hair care products to use at home.
Maintain Your Results
For lasting scalp health, consider regular treatments. Many clients book their next head spa before leaving to maintain their scalp care routine.
